About Hacktriad 2.0

Organized as a flagship event under LNIT Summit – 2K26, Hacktriad 2.0 is a 48-hour National Hackathon aimed at fostering innovation, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on technical skills among students. The event serves as a dynamic platform where young innovators collaborate, ideate, and develop practical solutions to real-world challenges using emerging technologies.

Building on the grand success of Hacktriad 1.0, this edition emphasizes industry-relevant problem statements, expert mentorship, and prototype-driven development, enabling participants to gain real-time exposure to professional workflows and expectations.

Internship Opportunities

Apart from cash prizes, Hacktriad 2.0 strongly focuses on industry exposure and career opportunities. Winning teams will receive internship opportunities from industry partners based on their performance and innovation. Even if a team does not win, projects that demonstrate strong industrial relevance, innovation, and practical applicability will be considered for internship offers by industry experts and mentors.

Selection for internships will be purely merit-based, depending on the quality, feasibility, and real-world impact of the project. Hacktriad 2.0 thus ensures that every deserving idea gets recognized, encouraging participants to focus on meaningful and industry-ready solutions rather than just competition outcomes.

Day 1 – 26th February 2026 (Inauguration & Bootcamp)
  • 09:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Registrations
  • 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Inauguration Ceremony
  • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Keynote Address by Industry Experts
  • 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM: Lunch Break
  • 01:00 PM onwards:

Day 2 – 27th February 2026

• Continuous Hackathon Development & Mentoring.

Day 3 – 28th February 2026

• Morning: Prototype Evaluation by Expert Jury.

• Evening: Valedictory Session & Prize Distribution.

Important Instructions

All participants must bring their own laptops, chargers, and any required technical accessories to ensure a smooth development process.

Teams opting for hardware-based solutions are required to bring their own hardware components. Please note that participants are solely responsible for safeguarding their personal equipment throughout the event.

Hospitality

Accommodation will be provided by the Institute. On 26th Feb, overnight stay is not mandatory; however, long-distance travelers may avail accommodation on prior intimation. Bedding provided on 27th Feb. Food provided for all 3 days.
